System change is about helping organizations work more efficiently and effectively with available human and other resources, reevaluating processes as well as structures. It encompasses:
Information Insights specializes in helping organizations develop system-changing approaches to needs and problems. Fair assessment of opportunities to improve both personnel processes and efficiency of work is a primary component of systems change. To facilitate this, Information Insights conducts an independent review and analysis of a client’s organizational structure and recommends changes. By properly managing resources, organizations can use costly resources efficiently, optimize use of scarce resources, and develop and retain more of their skilled staff.
Our team has a broad range of government, private sector, and consulting expertise, offering clients the depth to go beyond number-crunching reports to produce policy-driven action plans.
No review and analysis of an organization’s structure and operations would be complete without a concurrent analysis of revenue enhancements. Recognizing that various revenue enhancements have different impacts, we can recommend methods for adapting a business model to changing conditions while continuing to do business and provide necessary services.
We work closely with our clients to develop comprehensive plans and methodologies, produce projects that provide useful information, ensure that all our findings and recommendations are solidly based, and discuss work plan modifications as needed. We understand that a project’s scope and needs may change as information is acquired through project activities. Information Insights has developed a reputation for working with contracting agencies to deliver the best possible product, which sometimes means rethinking project activities and changing directions. This also means that contracting agencies often receive more than they envisioned in the RFP outline.
The company is equipped to work on projects that require access to sensitive information. We understand the need to uphold client confidentiality for certain types of data, and have experience working on projects for Alaska clients with such needs.
Brian and his staff of professionals were very open minded and helpful to our needs. Their varied expertise allowed for the project to be accomplished with little difficulty and was on time and within budget.

Information Insights will be helping Bristol Bay residents develop a region-wide vision. Five regional organizations – BBNC, BBNA, BBEDC, BBHA and BBAHC – are partnering to make the project happen. Information Insights will work to engage residents in every village in the region through community meetings to be held this fall and winter. At the meetings, Information Insights facilitators will seek to identify the underlying principles that unify the people of the region in order to develop a common vision that will give voice to their shared values. The visioning process will be transparent, neutral and inclusive for all residents of the region. Consensor™ audience response technology will be used to ensure that all participants have an equal voice. Lead project staff at Information Insights are senior consultants Sherry Modrow and Cady Lister and project consultants Jane Angvik and Dr. Steve Langdon. Other project staff include Brenda Holden, Chris Rogers and Jessica Holden. Jana Peirce will develop a project website and social media presence to reach out to younger Bristol Bay area residents.
